The Zpacks Nero Pro Backpack is a lightweight frameless pack designed for experienced hikers who want maximum efficiency without sacrificing durability or comfort. Built on the minimalist concept of the popular Nero series, the Nero Pro takes performance further with premium materials, advanced storage options, and improved carrying comfort for demanding adventures.

Constructed from highly durable Ultra 100X and Ultra TenX fabrics, the Nero Pro delivers exceptional abrasion and tear resistance while remaining impressively lightweight. The laminated waterproof backing helps protect your gear from wet conditions, and all seams and attachment points are taped for enhanced weather resistance. For extended trips or heavy rain, the use of a pack liner or dry bags is still recommended.
The backpack is available in 30L and 40L volumes to suit different hiking styles. The 30L version is ideal for fast-and-light overnighters, weekend trips, or travelers looking for a carry-on-compatible backpack that fits under most airline seats. The larger 40L version offers enough space for multi-day adventures and thru-hiking setups with ultralight gear.

Designed with functionality in mind, the Nero Pro features durable Venom Stretch Mesh pockets on the front, sides, and bottom of the pack. These highly abrasion-resistant stretch pockets provide quick access to snacks, layers, water bottles, or wet gear while on the move.
The large front pocket easily accommodates shelters or extra clothing, while the bottom pocket offers convenient storage for items you need throughout the day.

Comfort has also been upgraded with a zippered back panel sleeve that securely holds the included foam sit pad. Combined with breathable 3D mesh, the back panel improves airflow and adds structure while reducing moisture buildup against your back.
The removable sit pad can quickly be taken out during breaks on the trail. 

The closed-cell foam sit pad measures 28 cm x 39.4 cm (11" x 15.5") and adds an additional 28 grams to the total weight of the pack.

The roll-top closure allows you to compress the pack as your load changes, while side compression cords stabilize the contents and can also secure trekking poles or umbrellas. An included top strap provides additional external carry capacity, and optional accessories allow you to customize the pack for heavier or more specialized loads.
The Nero Pro also offers interchangeable shoulder strap options for a personalized fit. The padded straps use closed-cell foam and breathable mesh for long-distance comfort, while integrated daisy chains allow easy attachment of accessories and hydration systems.
