Enlightened Equipment Torrid Mitts - are ultralight and easy to care synthetic insulated mittens to keep your hands cozy while on the trail or at camp. With weight starting at 1.2 ounces the Torrid mittens insulate your hands and wrists in cold damp and windy conditions. Built using most durable ultralight fabrics in continuous filament Climashield™ Apex synthetic insulation the Torrid Mittens give you the warmth and packability of down with the better all-weather performance and moisture tolerance of synthetic insulation.

It's also easy to wash your synthetic Torrid mittens of dirt, sweat and oil.

The mitten palm is constructed with durable 70D ripstop nylon, and the outer fabric is ultralight 20D ripstop nylon with a water repellent finish, that repels light mist, fog or snow.

The gauntlet cuff covers your wrist and the wrist closure features a thin shock cord and cordlock to secure the mittens on your hands and lock out cold drafts.

If you find you need the extra mobility in just your fingers check out the optional Flip Tops for fingers, to allow access to things that require your fingers (phone, dog leash, camping gear). The top of the mitten flips back to allow the use of your fingers without having to take off the entire mitt. There is a shock cord to hold back the top of the mitten while in use and the large overlap keeps drafts out while closed.

When you're not using them the Torid mittens pack down small to fit just about anywhere in your pack.
