The gray 3-section pads have the same overall dimensions, but fold into a taller and narrower shape. This design provides more structure when used as back padding in Nero backpacks, and the slim folded shape also fits more securely in bottom/base straps.

The blue 4-section pads fold down into the most compact shape, making them ideal for storing inside your backpack or in an external pocket.
