Whether you're setting off on an international thru-hike or a rugged backcountry expedition, this ultralight, intelligently designed case ensures your pack arrives safely at your destination.
Made to fit backpacks up to 60-70L, it shields your gear from rough handling at baggage claim. Once you land, simply fold it up and use it as a water-resistant pack liner, keeping your gear dry and organized on the trail.
Need extra space? Airplane Case XL version allows room for additional items stored in your backpack’s exterior pockets.

FEATURES
- The Airplane Case provides essential protection when checking your backpack for air travel. Designed for convenience, it features a sturdy, elongated webbing handle that allows for balanced carrying, no matter the height of your pack.
- Its roll-top closure ensures a secure fit, and two small loops at the top allow you to attach a TSA-approved lock or a carabiner for added security.
- Once you arrive at your destination, the Airplane Case doubles as a pack liner, offering the same functionality as our standard liner but made with thicker Dyneema® Composite Fabric for enhanced durability. Taped seams further reinforce its weather resistance.
- Slightly larger than our standard pack liner, this case is designed to fit over your backpack, though you may need to remove water bottles or gear from exterior pockets and store them inside. It is compatible with all Zpacks backpacks and other similarly sized packs.
