THERMAREST NeoAir XTherm NXT MAX  - is an inflatable pad without cut any corners which is warm, lightweight and packable intended for use in cold-weather or year-round use.
XTherm MAX provides greater coverage with its rectangular shape allowing larger users and restless sleepers a more comfortable night’s rest in the backcountry. 
Most of traditional inflatable pads uses vertical baffles, but XTherm MAX uses horizontal baffles which provide consistent support and stability.

Stacked reflective barriers inside of the pad take the heat of your body and throw it back in your direction, rather than escaping into the ground or into the air. It gives this pad an R-Value of 7.3, which absolutely is a year round worthy value. You can be confident using this on snow, in winter or throughout the year. 

XTherm MAX provides you a nice 7.6 cm (3 in) thick base beneath you, which lifts you up of the ground to create some space and reflectivity that makes such warm and comfortable sleeping pad. It has a nice packable size, perfect for backpacking, weighs just 490g (Regular size). 

With the classic XTherm construction in a rectangular shape, the XTherm MAX features the high-performance WingLock ™ valve, allowing the pad to inflate three times faster thanks to a larger opening and one-way inflation. Like all Therm-a-Rest pads, the NeoAir XTherm MAX is made in market to ensure quality and minimize environmental impact. The pad includes a breath-saving pump sack, compact stuff sack and field repair kit.

Using the pump sack, you save the effort and energy of doing that by mouth and avoid moisture from your breath to get inside the pad and potentially shorten its lifespan.
