DESCRIPTION
TARPTENT Double Rainbow DW Ultra - is the high-performance variation of the classic Double Rainbow DW tent. It features UltraTNT fabric from Challenge Sailcloth laminate in place of sil-poly with fully bonded construction. This two person tents weighs approximately 1.12 kilograms, including the carbon-fiber pole, stuff sack, and tent stakes.
It measures 224 centimeters in length and features two vestibules, each with an area of 0.7 square meters. The tent can be set up as semi-freestanding using stakes or fully freestanding with trekking poles that extend to at least 140 centimeters.
The tent includes two side doors and a rectangular footprint, allowing both occupants to sit upright simultaneously. The Double Rainbow has two gear storage pockets near the doors, suitable for holding small items like notebooks or smartphones. The pole system consists of a primary pole running lengthwise and a crossbar for support, though some re-staking is needed for optimal tension.
For weather resistance, the tent features waterproof zippers and a fly that extends nearly to the ground to minimize splashback. Vents are located above each vestibule, and the fly zippers can be opened from the top to enhance ventilation. The tent floor sides rise about 13 centimeters from the ground. The materials are designed to withstand extended rain exposure.
The structure will withstand moderate to heavy snow loading. Staking extra lines for snow and/or high wind is recommended. There are additional pullouts on the arch and perimeter hem.
The Double Rainbow's fabric is a cutting-edge material that is both extremely lightweight and strong.
This tent offers a variety of setup options, allowing you to customize it for maximum shade, privacy, or wind protection. It can also be arranged as an open porch or for full stargazing. The Ultra material ensures a taut and secure pitch in a wide range of conditions.

*Please note: Trekking poles are only required for free-standing mode. It requires at least 142 cm / 56 in trekking poles to become free-standing. Trekking poles that adjust to 140 cm can usually go a few cm past 140cm and will work. Poles that do not get this long can be extended with Trekking pole tip extenders. Extenders are 152 mm / 6 in and typically add 75-100 mm / 3-4 in depending on pole tip design. The extenders work perfectly for poles that extend to 135cm.
