HMG Unbound 55 - is a larger version of a popular thru-hiking backpack. Main body capacity of 55L plus additional external 9L.

For those seeking longer and more adventurous trips, the UNBOUND 55 allows you to carry more with its additional volume. It can accommodate seasonal clothing and gear changes or increased food and water for longer distances between resupply points, expanding your capacity. Similar to the Unbound 40, the pack design of the UNBOUND 55 has been tested through thru-hikes, enduring the challenges of 3 000+ km and five to six months of continuous use. It has been loaded and unloaded, jostled and dragged, and exposed to the elements. The Unbound 55 is the authentic outcome of this pursuit, with only the essential features earning their place, ensuring an efficient, comfortable, adaptable, and dependable travel companion. Constructed with Dyneema Fabric (DCF), renowned for its exceptional strength-to-weight ratio, this backpack is virtually indestructible, even in harsh conditions. With a 55-liter capacity, the UNBOUND 55 backpack suits various expeditions, from lengthy thru-hikes to weekend trips. Its minimalist design enables you to carry all your necessities without unnecessary bulk.
Featuring a tried and true roll-top closure that can be additionally secured and compressed with a top compression strap, the UNBOUND 55 ensures your gear remains secure and compact.
Simple and removable side compression straps add stability and support, while the removable hip belt with spacious pockets on both sides enhances functionality. The backpack boasts a spacious main compartment, a front stretch dual-entry pocket, and larger-than-normal cinchable side water bottle pockets for quick access. Additionally, the pack features genius and durable bottom stretch pocket with two openings to hold all your daily essentials. Numerous daisy chains running throughout the pack offer plenty of lashing and carrying options. A single body pre-shaped aluminum stay ensures comfortable and stable load-carrying capability.
