Hyperlite Mountain Gear Porter 85L
At 85 liters, the Hyperlite Mountain Gear Porter 85L is the largest-volume pack HMG makes - built for the trips where nothing else has enough room. It is the go-to choice for packrafters who need to haul a boat along with everything else, but it works just as well for multi-discipline adventurers, long backcountry expeditions, ski touring, and winter travel where the extra space really counts. This is a true ultralight expedition hauler: maximum capacity without the weight penalty.
The Porter keeps a stripped-back, minimalist build - hip-belt pockets, a roll-top closure, and four vertical daisy chains running down the exterior. Those daisy chains let you lash on paddles, snowshoes, a helmet, or whatever your specific trip demands.
On the outside you get a Y-top compression strap over the roll-top, two vertical compression straps, and four side compression straps to cinch the load down as the pack empties. Inside sit removable shaped aluminum stays for structure and an internal zippered pocket for smaller items.
Need even more external storage? Add the attachable Porter Stuff Pocket, an external mesh pocket that clips onto the pack. And to keep your contents dry in any weather, pair it with Dyneema Composite Fabrics Stuff Sacks.
