DESCRIPTION
Hyperlite Mountain Gear Junction 55L - is an ultralight, minimalist backpack built for hikers who need a versatile and reliable pack for both on- and off-trail use. Based on the trusted Windrider and Southwest designs, it combines durability, smart organization, and lightweight performance in one adaptable system.
Now constructed with Dyneema® Woven Composite 3.9 a fully woven 200 denier fabric — it delivers improved abrasion resistance while remaining exceptionally light and 100% waterproof. The roll-top closure makes it easy to adjust volume and secure the load in changing conditions.
The Junction 55L features two redesigned, deep side pockets made from solid Dyneema® Hardline fabric for better protection and access, and a large center mesh pocket that improves visibility and helps wet gear dry faster. Redesigned shoulder straps and a sewn-through back panel enhance comfort, stability, and fit.
Inside, the pack provides 55 liters of storage with an internal hydration sleeve, roomy side bottle pockets, and large hip belt pockets for fast access to essentials. It carries up to 18 kg comfortably, making it ideal for longer hikes or trips with fewer resupply points.
With a starting weight of just 828 grams (depending on size and configuration), the Junction 55L remains a dependable and efficient pack for hikers who value simplicity, performance, and long-term durability.

- A top-mounted Y-strap compresses the load and helps secure items stored at the top of the pack.

- The dual-density hip belt uses closed-cell foam and spacer mesh to deliver both structure and comfort over long distances.

- Seam tape applied to all vertical seams and sewn-on features boosts water resistance and helps keep your gear dry.
- The 19 mm sternum strap is adjustable along daisy chains, allowing for a personalized and secure fit.
- Redesigned shoulder straps follow the natural curve of the neck and include extra bartacks for greater adjustability of the sternum strap.
