DESCRIPTION
The Hyperlite Mountain Gear Sternum Strap is a lightweight, adjustable chest strap that improves the fit, stability and comfort of your HMG backpack. Whether you need to replace a lost or damaged sternum strap or want to add one to a compatible pack, it keeps the shoulder straps securely in place while hiking, fastpacking or travelling.
It combines adjustable webbing with self-tensioning elastic, so it moves naturally with your body while stabilising the pack across your chest. The side-release buckle also has an emergency whistle built in – a small but useful safety feature for backcountry trips.
Available in two webbing widths: the 3/4" version fits all Hyperlite Mountain Gear backpacks, while the slimmer 5/8" version is designed for the Elevate, Unbound, Waypoint and Contour.
