GEAR AID Tenacious Tape Mesh Patches is a mosquito net repair kit for instant emergency repairs to all types of bug netting – tent inner mesh, no-see-um screens, hammock nets and house fly screens.

The pack contains two pre-cut, almost transparent mesh patches, so you can cover any small hole or tear at home or at the campsite in seconds. Just position the patch over the damage, peel and stick – no glue, no sewing, no residue. The repair is barely noticeable and stops the tear from spreading, so your tent keeps protecting you from biting insects.

Make sure the damaged area is clean and completely dry before applying the patch. Gently bring the torn edges of the mesh back together so that they are aligned naturally, without stretching the mesh.

Peel off the backing and apply the Tenacious Tape Mesh Patch directly over the tear, making sure the damaged area is well covered on all sides. Press the patch firmly against the mesh, particularly around the edges.

For a stronger and more durable repair, especially on a larger tear, we recommend applying a patch from both sides of the mesh, aligning the two patches with each other. This sandwiches the damaged mesh between them and helps prevent the tear from spreading.

After application, press the entire repaired area firmly and allow the adhesive some time to bond before packing or using the tent again.

The repair should be neat and almost transparent, so once applied correctly it will be barely noticeable.
