BIG AGNES Fly Creek HV UL1 Solution Dye - is a great tent for light and fast missions. It's one of the lightest free-standing tents on the market if you’re on a solo adventure. The exceptional design, coupled with awesome fabrics makes it hard to beat in terms of efficiency.
Fly Creek HV UL1 weighs in a just 765g with the single door and vestibule the Fly Creek is a simple intuitive setup and the free-standing build makes it easy to pitch almost anywhere.
Award-winning Fly Creek tent has been redesigned from the stakes up. Now updated with a larger vertical door entry arch and steep door architecture for more headroom, approximately a 20% increase with two extra inches added at the head and the foot. Now with a larger front entry you get the same dry entry vestibule and weight savings you know about with the Fly Creek HV UL.
Constructed using ultralight materials with weatherproof, technical features you expect from a three-season tent, Big Agnes now use solution-dyed fabric on the fly, floor, and breathable fabric. With solution-dyed fabric, we drastically reduce water and energy use during manufacturing. A process that is better for the environment and improves the quality of the tent fabric, as it is more UV resistant and colorfast. By solution-dying tent fabrics they reduce energy consumption by 80% and water use by 50% compared to traditional fabric dyeing methods.
Stash your gear with any of he three mesh pockets seamlessly integrated within the ten body and use the clean earbud-cord routing for listening to tunes or your favorite podcast quietly in the backcountry.
This tent has also been upgraded with proprietary tent corner construction and unique TipLok Tent Buckle™ to streamline tent setup by c ombining three functions: secure pole tip capture, rainfly attachment and tensioner and stakeout loop. This buckle has a keyed hole so the pole-tip locks securely into place during setup and hinged design stabilizes the structure by equalizing forces between the tent body, rainfly and ground stake.
Tent includes new 6'' Dirt Dagger UL tent stakes designed with patent pending I-beam aluminum construction and orange anodized finish. You'll notice the difference with a 25% increase in strength to weight ratio, lightest and strongest BA stakes ever.
Fly Creek HV UL1 can be set up in Fast&Fly mode using just fly, poles and footprint in cases you need to shed extra weight or you can make do without the tent body. If you really want to travel light, leave the tent body at home and use it as a Fast Fly with the optional Footprint (sold separately) for a tarp-style set-up that weighs only 595g!
