BIG AGNES Copper Spur UL4 2025 - is the latest improved version of Big Agnes’ best selling tent. Is one of the highest quality freestanding ultralight backpacking shelter on the market. If you’re looking for a new tent, we highly recommend this one. The Copper Spur is a fully freestanding tent, is easy and fast to set up and take down. With trail weight 2.38kg (including stakes, guy lines, etc.) is among the lightest double-wall freestanding tents on the market. The Copper Spur is a 3-season tent, built to be comfortable in Spring, Summer and Fall.
The newest 2025 model features proprietary HyperBead™ fabric engineered to perform season after season. Strongest and most durable HyperBead™ fabric is 6% lighter, 25% more waterproof and 50% stronger than traditional fabrics, without added water repellent chemicals.
The double vestibule awnings on either side of the tent provide customized options to suit your mood. Pitch these spacious awnings when you need additional shade or just to chill zone around your tent. Use your trekking poles or accessory tent poles and stabilize with the extra guylines. The fly material is made with new proprietary ultralight nylon, double ripstop mixed denier fabric, offering extra tear strength and puncture resistance without adding weight. Proprietary corner construction of the new Copper Spur HV UL series is built around the TipLok Tent Buckle.™
To simplify your tent setup they combined three functions into one mechanism: secure pole-tip capture, rainfly attachment, and stakeout loop. New pre-bent span pole with high volume angle hub and 4-way volume hub design increases strength, stability and shedding. The high-volume pole architecture was designed to provide maximum usable space and strength without adding weight to your pack.
The Fast-fly setup is available with the footprint sold separately.
The manufacturer paid attention to detail and used the material with the highest quality. Tent belongs to the more expensive one, but it is definitely worth it.
