BIG AGNES Copper Spur HV UL3 Bikepack tent - new three-person tent was added to the Bikepack series of the tents with the same optimized stuff sack design for two-wheeled travel. It's the only tent in the Big Agnes Bikepack series that’s completely freestanding and has a more interior room, especially headroom and length.

Redesigned with more interior volume and vestibule awnings, using stronger, lighter, more sustainably sourced fabrics.


The Copper Spur HV UL3 Bikepack Tent is designed with proprietary ultralight nylon, double ripstop, mixed denier fabric for extra strength and puncture resistance without adding weight. This tent also features the vestibule style awnings you know from Copper Spur HV UL series. 

Equipped with unique TipLok Tent Buckle for simplified setup, they've combined three functions: secure pole tip capture, rainfly attachment and tensioner and stakeout loop. This buckle has a keyed hole so the poletip locks securely into place during setup. Tent includes new 6'' Dirt Dagger UL tent stakes with orange anodized finish designed with patent pending I-beam aluminum construction. You'll notice the difference with a 25% increase in strength to weight ratio, lightest and strongest BA stakes ever. With a shortened 12'' Shortstick poleset, 4'' shorter than the standard pole length, you can stash these tents on the width of bike handles, panniers and saddlebags or simply saving space in any bag. 

Comes in a bikepacking specific water-resistant compression stuff sack to attach to the handlebars and is designed to withstand the rigors of trail travel. With integrated daisy-chain webbing system also offers multiple bike-frame attachment options.

All the features built for bikepacking are a common thread among these specialized bikepack tents like the added webbing for dry helmet storage located on the tent body exterior and daisy-chain webbing loops integrated on the fly exterior to dry out wet clothes and gear.

The Copper Spur HV UL3 person bikepack features two doors and two vestibules which is perfect for traveling with a friend. This extra exit and entry route gives you and your partner plenty of room to come and go as you please, while having your own covered exterior storage space on either side of the tent. Featuring vestibule style awnings, you can also each enjoy your own chill space in the shade. 

Unique to Bikepack series of tents is extended footprint which creates a vestibule floor for dry, dirt free changing and additional gear storage. Footprint (sold separately) helps protect the floor of the tent from water, mud or sharp objects and extend the life of your tent floor. For those who want to travel light, the footprint enables to pitch a lightweight Fast Fly shelter only with the rainfly, the poles, and the footprint for a tarp style set-up that weighs only 1.47kg.
