Cumulus is a family-run Polish brand and one of Europe's finest down specialists. It was founded in 1989 by Zdzislaw Wylezek in Gdynia, on the Baltic coast, just as Poland opened up to private enterprise, and is run today by his son Jacek - more than 35 years of building down sleeping bags, quilts and jackets in-house. Cumulus's real edge is location: Poland produces some of the best goose down in the world, and by sourcing it locally and ethically from certified, free-range geese, Cumulus fills its gear with premium 850+ fill power down while keeping prices well below comparable brands. Everything is sewn in Poland - each sleeping bag from start to finish by a single maker - using ultralight fabrics like Pertex and Toray Airtastic, one of the lightest downproof fabrics in the world. Bags can be tailored to you - size, down amount, fabric, zip side - and every product is backed by in-house repairs and a lifetime warranty against defects.
