Constructed from Ultra 400X—a fabric 20% lighter and four times more abrasion-resistant than comparable 400d U-PE materials—the Ultra Node weighs just 572 g (20.17 oz). With its 400d Ultra-PE face, high-tenacity polyester blend, Ultra-PE CrossPly, and 0.75 mil film backing, this pack is ready for years of rugged use.
Designed to fit one large, one medium, and one small ULA Packing Cube perfectly, the Ultra Node adapts to your carry needs—whether for tech gear, daily essentials, or a quick overnight kit. Carry-on compliant, it fits neatly under airline seats while excelling on technical day hikes.

Smart, Accessible Storage
Its exterior is equipped with pleated UltraStretch™ mesh side pockets and a spacious front kangaroo pocket for flexible, easy-access storage. Both the side and front pockets feature laser-cut drainage ports to keep your gear dry in wet conditions. A roll-top closure secures the main compartment, supported by a buckled compression strap with an integrated strap keeper. For essentials, the front zippered quick-access pocket with a YKK AquaGuard® zipper and zipper garage keeps contents protected and snag-free—complete with a built-in key lanyard for added convenience.

Inside, the Ultra Node offers clean, modular organization with three dedicated sleeves:
Static padded laptop sleeve for safe tech storage
Main compartment sleeve crafted from durable 210D UltraGrid® fabric
UltraStretch™ mesh sleeve for dynamic storage
Interior tabs allow for optional accessories like the Internal Stash Pocket, giving you secure space for smaller items.
Comfort and Versatility
Featuring ULA’s signature ergonomic S-straps, a removable and adjustable sternum strap, and a padded haul loop, the Ultra Node ensures all-day carrying comfort. It’s also compatible with the Removable 1" Hipbelt for enhanced load stability on longer adventures.
STANDARD OR MAGNETIC STERNUM STRAP?
You can choose standard sternum strap or magnetic with magnetic buckle. Magnetic buckle technology means you can buckle with one hand while you hike.
