BIG AGNES Copper Spur HV UL2 mtnGLO ultralight tent - is a 2-man freestanding ultralight backpacking tent with MntGLO technology.
MtnGLO® Tent Light Technology uses LED lights sewn right into the fabric seams to illuminate the interior of your tent, providing enough light to sort gear,, play cards or change your clothes - all without blinding your friends with your head torch. The light strand runs on 3 AAA batteries or a USB power source and is durable enough to withstand repeated tent pitching and packing.
Apart from the innovative lighting, nothing has changed about the lightweight Copper Spur HV UL2 backpacking tent.
The Copper Spur is a fully freestanding tent, is easy and fast to set up and take down. With trail weight 1.28kg (including stakes, guy lines, etc.) is among the lightest double-wall freestanding tents on the market.
The Copper Spur is a 3-season tent, built to be comfortable in Spring, Summer and Fall. With steep, vertical walls there's enough internal space to ensure that windy, rainy afternoons spent playing Hearts won't leave you feeling claustrophobic.
The double vestibule awnings on either side of the tent provide customized options to suit your mood. Pitch these spacious awnings when you need additional shade or just to chill zone around your tent. Use your trekking poles or accessory tent poles and stabilize with the extra guylines. The fly material is made with new proprietary ultralight nylon, double ripstop mixed denier fabric, offering extra tear strength and puncture resistance without adding weight. Proprietary corner construction of the new Copper Spur HV UL series is built around the TipLok Tent Buckle.™
To simplify your tent setup they combined three functions into one mechanism: secure pole-tip capture, rainfly attachment, and stakeout loop. New pre-bent span pole with high volume angle hub and 4-way volume hub design increases strength, stability and shedding.
The Fast-fly setup is available with the footprint sold separately.
The manufacturer paid attention to detail and used the material with the highest quality. Tent belongs to the more expensive one, but it is definitely worth it.
